I found this awesome new restaurant guide called Restaurantdotter.com. This is the best restaurant guide that I have seen on the web. I like it because it gives you straight up results.
If you put “Alpharetta” in the location box, it shows you an interactive map with only restaurants in Alpharetta. You can even input your address and it will center your location on the map and then populate the map with all of the restaurants withing the specified radius. You can see exactly where the restaurant is located in relation to where you are (or where you set the destination - i.e. hotel, friends house, etc).
Restaurantdotter.com is the first unbiased, location-based restaurant guide on the internet. I hate how all the other ones are so spammed up with “preferred” listings that may be 2 cities away from where you searched. As an internet marketer, I know how these “corrupt” results happen. Money. They pay the restaurant directory tons of money per month to get at the top of every search. Sure, that extra visibility is good for them and the ad revenues are good for the dining directory, but you know who it isn’t good for? You, the user. You are the reason that everything is in business; the restaurant and the restaurant guide site. So then, why is your best interest the last priority? Hmmm?
I hope that Restaurantdotter.com will maintain its integrity and continue to provide unbiased relevant results.
